Watari Bune Junmai Daiginjo

Founded in 1854 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Huchu Homare is managed by the 7th generation of the Yamauchi family. Their historical milestone came in the 1990s when they revived the formerly extinct rice Watari Bune and launched a unique line of sake around it. This Junmai Daiginjo is an award-winning sake with deep, lush layers of honeydew melon, peaches and pineapple. Nicknamed “Liquid Gold,” it took home the gold medal at the 2018 International Wine Challenge and continues to be a highly sought after sake.
