Hideyoshi "Hanami" Junmai Ginjo

Founded around 1840 as a shipping agent, Suzuki Shuzoten began crafting unrefined nigorizake for local fishermen at Ukedo Port in Namie Town. For generations, its flagship brand, "Iwakikotobuki," served as the local celebration sake for a bountiful catch. After the 2011 earthquake and nuclear accident destroyed the original brewery, operations temporarily moved to Yamagata Prefecture. In 2021, the brewery triumphantly returned to its hometown by opening a new facility at Roadside Station Namie. Visitors can view the transparent brewing process firsthand, showcasing the enduring resilience and heritage of the brand. Hideyoshi Junmai Ginjo Hanami is a limited edition sake that presents the charm of cherry blossoms at nighttime.
