Godocha Azumaichi Eastern Legend Junmai Ginjo

Based in Saga Prefecture, Gochoda Shuzo produces bold, full-bodied sake that deeply reflects its regional roots. Concentrating exclusively on high-quality sake, Gochoda became one of the first breweries in Kyushu to specialize in premium ginjo styles in 1988. The brewery takes a hands-on approach to every stage of production, growing their own premium Yamada Nishiki rice, milling in-house, and using custom square wooden rice steamers. The resulting expressive, big-bodied sake bursts with flavor while maintaining remarkable subtlety, with “Azumaichi Eastern Legend” Junmai Ginjo easily standing up to the distinct profiles of grilled silverfish like sardines, bluefish, and mackerel.
