“Tatenyan” refers to a furry company representative - a stray cat turned mascot that wandered into the brewery and made it its permanent residence. Made of Omachi rice, this sake goes great with pork shabu shabu and robatayaki (fish and yakitori).

Description
Tatenokawa Brewery is the first brewery in Yamagata prefecture to focus solely on the crafting of junmai daiginjo. Locally-grown Miyama Nishiki and Dewansansan rice varieties make up a majority of their sake. They strive to produce high quality sake at an affordable price.
