Description
Asahi Shuzo strongly believes in a “quality first” approach. They cultivate grains from Niigata prefecture or the “Land of Rice,” the water from snowfall, the skills of their Toji, and community relationships to produce their premium bottles. The brewery operates under two Echigo Toji, or recognized master brewers in Niigata, who have nurtured Kubota’s distinctive style of “tanrei karakuchi,” or sake with a crisp and dry finish.
