Description
The first brewers of Yamaguchi Shuzojyou took great delight in watching the nightingales play and drink water in their gardens, and generations later the beloved symbol graces the labels of the sake from this brewery. The brewery is well-positioned geographically. With an abundance of pure water from the Chikugogawa River and the region being a key producer of the most highly-sought sakamai, Yamada Nishiki, the brewery shares its natural blessings through their elegant sake. Notice the label of each of their 17-20 sake produced annually features the nightingale in a different shade and position, inviting us to enjoy the song of their dedication with each sip. Try this junmai daiginjo with spring rolls, salads, fish dishes and hot stone bibimbap.
