Description
Since 1973, Nagurayama Brewing Company has produced ginjo sake in the Aizu region of Fukushima prefecture. A strong samurai culture and tradition exists in Aizu, and is reflected in the full, rich style that was favored by the samurai. One of the prefecture’s accomplishments has been the development of Yume no Kaori rice; like Gohyakumangoku, its shimpaku is large and round and is resistant to cold climates. It produces well-rounded, balanced sake.
