Description

Takara Sake USA, established in 1983, is a member of Takara Group, a Japanese corporation that leads in alcohol and biotechnological businesses. Its mother company was established in 1842 by the Yomo family. Before Takara USA, the Yomo family founded a few branding incorporations and expansions that resulted in success with alternative beverages (shochu, mirin, shirozake). In 1951, the corporation began exporting sake to the USA.
