Description
Since its establishment in 1688, the Katsuyama Brewery has exclusively provided only junmai sake, and it has a special history of extending its services to feudal lords and samurai. The word “katsu” translates to “victory” and “yama” means “mountain.” It was one of the first breweries to create a sake experience that is well-balanced with food beyond Japanese cuisine, and it is the only brewery in Japan that produces only one tank per week. Their sake is most appreciated at chilled temperatures.
