It is complex yet smooth, with a nose that offers citrus and other fruit balanced against more savory tones like soy, pepper, and rich barley. At 43% ABV (“alcohol by volume”), Iichiko Saiten has a strong start and a long finish, with flavors of jasmine tea, white peaches, and earthy minerals. It is also award winning, having received the Double Gold medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a 94 Point rating at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
