Description
A rather fragrant Junmai Ginjo, bottled immediately without charcoal filtering, to allow more of the natural aromatics to make it into the bottle. The fruity nose of lime and melon is pressed to the forefront with bold hints of fennel, white pepper and allspice. This sake is brewed by IMada Shuzo founded in 1868, in Hiroshima (the birthplace of Ginjo sake) which is known for remarkably soft water that requires an expert hand for use in sake production.
