Description

Asabiraki was founded by a samurai-turned-merchant in the 19th Century, and its name comes from a poet blessing the departure of ships, a scene from Japan’s oldest poetry book called the “Manyo-syu.” Their master brewer is from the Nanbu Toji Guild, the number one brewing guild in all of Japan, renowned for their precise temperature management and experience. Suijin Junmai speaks to this heritage and to the skill of the toji so make sure to experiment with temperatures and enjoy it with different kinds of cuisine.
