Sake from Okayama is characterized by a well-balanced sake that is aromatic, soft on the palate and has a good balance of rice flavor and sharpness. This bottle won the highest gold medal in annual Japanese Kan-Sake (Warmed sake) awards in 2022. Despite its heavy texture, Toji’s (chief brewer) brewing technique keeps it from becoming bland. You can enjoy the original sweetness and flavor of the moromi (sake mash) filtered with a coarse cloths. Recommended warming this sake to a temperature of 40-50C/104-122F. It is rare to find nigorizake that can be enjoyed with warmth.
