Description
Rihaku Brewery is named after the famous Chinese poet Rihaku (known in English as Li Po) who is said to drink a bottle of sake and write 100 poems. The brewery sits in the northern part of Shimane prefecture, not far from Japan’s oldest Shinto Shrine, the Izumo Taisha. The soft water flowing down from the Chugoku range contributes to Rihaku’s well-rounded, mellow sake that makes a great food companion.
