Description

Located in central Kanagawa prefecture just an hour away from Tokyo is Izumibashi Shuzo, a boutique brewery and one of the few that grow and polish their own rice. The kura’s employees work tirelessly with local farmers to produce high-quality rice. The use of Juro Ume, a local plum, contributes to the juicy acidity of this umeshu. Pair with tomato-based dishes, smoked meats, pork chop and nuts for amazing umami!
