Join us this summer for DC Sake cō’s second annual Japanese Spirits Tasting Soiree, held during a radiant afternoon atop the chic Hotel Zena at Hedy’s Rooftop & Lounge.
Back for its second year, this special event celebrates the rich traditions of Japanese distillation. You’ll explore a thoughtfully curated selection of premium Japanese spirits reflecting the craftsmanship and heritage of Japan’s distilling culture.
Set against sweeping city view, this tasting offers a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, perfect for both seasoned enthusiasts and curious newcomers. Sip, discover, and connect with fellow lovers of Japanese spirits as we raise a glass to what’s quickly becoming a beloved annual tradition. Kanpai!

Time: 2PM – 4:00PM
Capacity: Limited to 40 Attendees
Ticket: $120 Early Bird Special ($130 Regular price)
- Exclusive Early Access: VIP ticket holders will have the privilege of early entry, allowing them more intimate time and space to enjoy and explore the 30+ spirits.
- Exclusive Spirits to taste for VIPs: A special session featuring a few rare and exclusive spirits will be available for tasting. This is an opportunity to experience unique offerings not widely available. Additionally, they will have the chance to participate in raffles for the opportunity to purchase these exclusive bottles. (Please note, availability is limited and not guaranteed.)
- Cocktail tickets: Complimentary cocktail tickets will be given to enjoy at Hedy’s rooftop cocktail lounge following the tasting session, as we kindly request to vacate the general tasting room.
